BRONZE MEDALLION
The Bronze Medallion is an award aimed at those
who are interested in becoming lifesavers.

This 24 hour course is written by the Royal Life
Saving Society UK and covers water rescue, first aid,
resuscitation and water safety. All candidates must be 14
years of age or over. |

Course Details:
Overview
The RLSS Bronze Medallion is an
internationally recognised lifesaving award, and provides an excellent
stepping stone to other more advanced award in lifesaving and lifeguarding.
A personal
achievement award, the Bronze Medallion is also the recommended rescue
qualification for many individuals conducting programs in aquatic
environments. The award is designed to establish competent levels of
knowledge combined with practical rescue skills in simulated open water
emergencies. Training and assessment is undertaken in a swimming pool.
